Cancellation Policy

To secure a confirmed booking, credit card details are required as security for the accommodation charges. This secures the room for the period of your intended stay and guarantees your room upon arrival.

For cancellations made prior to 48 hours of the day of arrival an administration fee of A$25.00 shall apply.

For cancellations or a “no show” made within 48 hours of the day of arrival, no refund of any payment shall be made.

A cancellation fee of the first night’s cost will be debited from a guest’s credit card for a cancellation within 48 hours or a “no show”.

In circumstances such as the lengthy forward holding of a booking, a deposit is required. All deposits are not refundable.

If you wish to stay beyond the period of your original booking, we ask that you advise us as soon as you are aware so that we may extend your the booking and where possible, keep you in your original room.

Reasons for this Policy

While we always regret the necessity to impose charges upon guests who do not use the accommodation, we have found it necessary to make these charges in the circumstances set out above in the hope that it will encourage guests to assist us by advising of any travel changes at an early time to allow us to re-let the room with minimal loss.

Our cancellation policy has also been necessary to allow us to maintain our policy of not over booking in the motel in busy periods, as is the case of the major hotels to cover the “no shows”, as we prefer to be able to guarantee our confirmed guests their room on the day.
